VOLUNTEER AT THE WASHINGTON FREE CLINIC
Volunteers make it happen! Volunteers are a major part of the Washington Free Clinic. In fact, when the Clinic was established in 1968, the entire organization was “staffed” with volunteers.
Our dedicated volunteers work together with professionals to provide assistance with medical clinic operations, Counseling and Testing for HIV / AIDS, translation services, special events, professional administrative work, and much more. Our volunteers are from many ethnic backgrounds which reflect the diverse multicultural needs of our patients.
Volunteers at the Clinic are provided clear job descriptions and are regarded as members of a team of multidisciplinary professionals that give of themselves to help people without health insurance to receive high quality health care services.
