Your generous support today will help the Clinic expand programs and continue to provide hope and help to indigent populations in the District.

Now in its 36th year, the Clinic has long delivered services to uninsured DC residents. Plans for expansion of services next year include:

  • Moving to a new facility, with the ability to significantly expand service
  • Hiring a full time development director to secure private and corporate contributions and grants
  • Hiring more staff fluent in Spanish, and overall expansion of services to marginalized immigrant communities
  • Establishing a contingency fund
  • Continuing to increase third-party reimbursements as part of the percentage of the operating budget
  • Purchase of critical items from the medical staff “wish list”

Give a tax deductible gift. The Clinic is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (tax identification number 52-0899190). In 2002, approximately 70% of the clinic’s funding came from government funds, while 30% came from private foundation grants and individual donations.
