Now in its 36th year, the Clinic has long delivered services to uninsured DC residents. Plans for expansion of services next year include:
- Moving to a new facility, with the ability to significantly expand service
- Hiring a full time development director to secure private and corporate contributions and grants
- Hiring more staff fluent in Spanish, and overall expansion of services to marginalized immigrant communities
- Establishing a contingency fund
- Continuing to increase third-party reimbursements as part of the percentage of the operating budget
- Purchase of critical items from the medical staff “wish list”

Give a tax deductible gift. The Clinic is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization (tax identification number 52-0899190). In 2002, approximately 70% of the clinic’s funding came from government funds, while 30% came from private foundation grants and individual donations.
